Track your pledges and bring this form to the event: Enjoy a relaxing and meaningful ride down Rillito River Park, and help further Camp Wildcat’s mission! At the end of the day, come celebrate the event with us with food and fun at Rio Vista Park!
Who?Anyone can apply! All ages and biking levels are welcomed. What?A bike ride through the peaceful Rillito River Park. The distance is up to you, but we have recommended trails of 22, 12, and 6 miles. Following the event is a celebration! Registration costs are $10 (payable at the event). You can bolster your contribution to the club with our sponsorship form. Find friends, family, and businesses who share your desire to help Tucson’s youth, and have them pledge a per-mile donation on the sponsorship form. The farther you ride, the more you’ll help! If you find 3 sponsors, you will receive a free stylish bike-a-thon t-shirt! Where/When?Rio Vista Park (North end of Tucson Blvd at the river [map]) on November 12th. Registration will begin at 9:00 and continue until noon. We will collect sponsorship forms at registration. The celebration will continue all day. Why?To support Camp Wildcat and by extension Tucson’s youth! What is Camp Wildcat? Camp Wildcat is a student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to providing cost-free camping trips for Tucson’s underprivileged youth to teach them about college and success as attainable goals. We keep our camps cost-free with fundraisers and with sponsors like you! Did we mention prizes? Prizes will be awarded to the person who: finds the most sponsors, rides the farthest, and raises the most money!
