A Friends of Camp Wildcat meeting will be held beforehand in the Sabino room (Student Union) from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and all are welcome.
We'll also be hosting a picnic on Campus at Highland Bowl near 6th St. and Highland on Sunday starting at 10 a.m. Please join us!

Miss volunteering? Still in Tucson?
Post graduation I have become an Americorps member and the Refugee Micro-enterprise Program Assistant for Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network. We are currently looking for volunteers for many upcoming events.
The first is Monday, August 8th. We are going to be redistributing items that have been donated to the Iskashitaa Refugee Crafts Circle (IRCC) to the families that we work with. Volunteers will be needed from 10am - 3pm. There will be three shifts, 10-12, 12-2, and 1-3. Currently we need to assign drivers to pick up our families that don't have their own transportation, people who are willing to help us with sign-in, distributors, volunteers to help hand out local produce donations, a couple people to make sure we are visiting our crafts tables in shifts, shutting doors, keeping busy, etc. We will most likely also need someone to drive over to our off-site storage facility to pick up donations at 9am that morning.

The next event is August 27th at La Cocina. A FUNraiser night from 5pm - 9pm. We will need people to work an auction and help to sell the sewing and crafts projects we've been working so hard on!

Come join us at ALUMNI CAMP 2011
When: Sat, May21 (10:00AM) to Sun, May 22 (5:30PM) Where: Camp Lawton on Mount Lemmon (near Tucson, AZ)
Cost: $25 per person to cover the cost of camp
Why: To give past and present members an opportunity to go on camp together, reflect on all of the great accomplishments and fun stories of the last 45 years, and have a lot of fun in the process.
